Antoinette Holt is an Associate Instructor at Indiana University Bloomington and a former Director of the Indiana State Department of Health’s Office of Minority Health. With over 25 years in public health, she has led programs focused on health equity, minority health, and culturally responsive care. Antoinette is committed to mentoring the next generation of public health professionals and promoting community-centered healthcare initiatives.

Wilma Alvarado-Little's work on racial and health equity issues from a linguistic and cultural perspective in addition to her interests in public policy, research, health literacy, and health disparities prevention. Joining the NYS Department of Health as the associate commissioner and director of the Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities Prevention, she focuses on Health Literacy and Language Access Initiatives.

Monique Anthony is a senior leader with the Tennessee Department of Health’s Office of Minority Health & Disparities Elimination, strengthening equity initiatives through program leadership, partnerships, and data-driven solutions.

Yanelle Powell is a Public Health Consultant and former Clinic Manager at the State of Delaware’s Shipley Health Unit, specializing in clinical operations, healthcare administration, and improving patient services. She serves on the Board of the National Association of Community Health Workers, where she supports policy development, workforce initiatives, and executive leadership. Yanelle is dedicated to fostering collaboration, strengthening community health programs, and expanding access to equitable healthcare.

Lisa B. Stafford is a retired public servant with over 33 years of experience in Ohio state government, including leadership roles at the Ohio Public Works Commission, Ohio Commission on Minority Health, and Ohio Department of Medicaid.

Veronica Halloway is a seasoned public health professional with over 20 years of experience, leading multiple initiatives at the state and national levels that address health disparities affecting minority populations.

Naw Pow is a public health professional and researcher with a strong background in epidemiology, communications, and health equity. She holds a Master of Public Health degree from Indiana University and is continuing her academic journey as a Ph.D. student, focusing on advancing data-driven solutions to improve population health. With over seven years of experience working with organizations like the CDC, Eli Lilly, and the Indiana Department of Health, Naw has led and supported initiatives in maternal and child health, chronic disease, and mental health. Her work focuses on translating complex data into actionable insights, fostering partnerships across sectors, and developing equitable systems that serve historically underserved communities.

Reuben Hampton leads health equity efforts at the New Hampshire Department of Health & Human Services, working to reduce disparities and improve access for marginalized communities statewide.

Amanda Medina-Forrester is Executive Director of New Jersey’s Office of Minority and Multicultural Health, advancing statewide health equity policies and programs to eliminate disparities.

Angela Dawson serves as Executive Director of the Ohio Commission on Minority Health, leading culturally responsive strategies and investments to reduce excess morbidity and mortality in Ohio’s minority populations.

Rudy Macklin leads Louisiana’s Bureau of Minority Health Access and the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, bringing decades of experience advancing minority health policy, culturally competent outreach, and statewide equity efforts.

Jade Ramsdell is a Kansas-based health equity and DEIJ leader with cross-sector experience, known for securing resources and advancing inclusive, accessible public health systems.

Jorden Laducer-Dix is Community Engagement Special Populations Coordinator at the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services, leading outreach that centers community voices and reduces barriers to care statewide.

Janice Edmunds-Wells began her work in minority health in Iowa in 1992 and in 2006 she codified the Office of Minority and Multicultural Health within an Omnibus Bill, serving as the executive officer until 2017. While working in minority and multicultural health, Edmunds-Wells led public health policy, research and programming activities related to rapidly diversifying populations in the state of Iowa. She was inducted last year into the Iowa African American Hall of Fame by the Black Cultural Center of Iowa State University.

Leann Johnson, MS, owns and operates Innovatus: Strategies for Innovation, Justice, and Care, a boutique consulting company. She is an Industrial/Organizational Psychology practitioner, health equity leader, social justice activist, and systems therapist with more than 30 years of leadership experience advancing equity and inclusion, racial equity, and health equity, as well as organizational development, education, planning, and transformation. She is currently studying at the University of Oxford, UK, Saïd Business School, in the Executive Diploma for Strategy and Innovation Programme, graduating in July 2026. Johnson received the inaugural Cheryl Boyce Equity Leadership Award in 2024 for her outstanding contributions to health equity and was also named Oregon’s Health Equity Champion by the Oregon Public Health Association.
