The National Association of State Offices of Minority Health (NASOMH) serves as the leading national voice and convening body for State Offices of Minority Health and allied leaders committed to advancing health equity and reducing health disparities across the United States and territories.
At a time when communities continue to experience persistent inequities in health outcomes, access, and opportunity, State Offices of Minority Health remain essential to identifying disparities, strengthening partnerships, informing policy, and elevating community-responsive solutions. Yet many of these offices are operating in increasingly complex environments shaped by shifting policy landscapes, constrained resources, and growing expectations to respond to longstanding and emerging health inequities.NASOMH exists to ensure these leaders and offices are not navigating these challenges alone.Through national convenings, peer learning, technical assistance, leadership development, and strategic collaboration, NASOMH strengthens the capacity of minority health leaders to lead effectively, respond strategically, and sustain progress in their states and communities.
